JOB SUMMARY

Assists the Operator as needed to ensure production timelines are met. May at times assist the Operator with the set-up of the  machinery. Has knowledge of all types of product/paper that is run on the machines. Follows all safety procedures, understands all safety equipment, and adheres to the company safety policies and procedures. Also maintain the Sheeters to include general maintenance and cleaning of the machine.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Opens rolls and/or properly stages product for production dependent upon assigned line.

2. Responsible for wrapping finished products and staging finished product to designated area.

3. Must be able to understand and complete the helper checklist.

4. Must be able to competently complete required paperwork.

5. Must be able to read and understand  internal (Pro-Con) job tickets.

6. Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition and follow the prescribed safety regulations.

7. May assist the Operator with machine set up.

8. Must be familiar with the basic machine functions in order to meet production deadlines.

9. Assists Operator with general maintenance duties on machines as required.

10. May be required to move materials with powered industrial trucks.
