JOB SUMMARY

Assist the Operator as needed to ensure production timelines are met.  May at times assist the Operator with the set-up of the Rewind machine.  Has knowledge of all types of product/paper that is run on the rewind machine.  Follow all safety procedures, understand all safety equipment and adhere to the company safety policies and procedures.  Also maintain the Rewinders to include assisting the operator with general maintenance and cleaning of the machine.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1.Open rolls and properly stage product for production. 

2.Responsible for wrapping and weighing finished rolls.

3. Must be able to competently complete required paperwork to include: roll outer diameter (OD), splice tracker, core plugs per roll, weight, tape/dust test, and double-checking cuts (size)

4.Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition and follow the prescribed safety regulations.

5.May assist the Operator with Rewinder machine set up.

6.Must be familiar with the basic machine functions in order to meet production deadlines.

7.Assist Operator with general maintenance duties on Rewinders as required.
